Seriously Torchwood

Back again Woodies, patience paid off. Here I have for you Channel 10 Australia's Torchwood "Seriously" promo. This promo is one of a series of commercials featuring the channel's top shows, they are all done in the same style and feature black and white mainly. I guess that's what makes them serious, any way they are all fairly cool. This one is no exception, I hope you like it.

The promo features John Barrowman and Eve Myles both in character and is 10 seconds in duration. These "Seriously" promos are generally shown, in between programs. 'Til next time Woodies, peace and here it is.

Day One Tonight Australian Promo

Hello Woodies, another Aussie promo for you today. This one is a combination of the previous trailer and Channel 10's "Seriously" promo. Its like several commercials in one, but stripped down to 20 seconds. I hope you enjoy this one, I will endeavour put up the "Seriously" Torchwood promo later which has both Eve Miles and John Barrowman. The seriously promos are done for many series in Australia (on 10), they do not contain any episode footage for (for non-Australians) but feature the actors giving their thoughts on things ............. seriously.

"Til next time Woodies peace, seriously!

More Aussie Eye Candy

G'day Woodies, I'm back with another 30 second promo for Torchwoods Australian premiere. This one focuses on the Gwen (Eve Mlyes) and Jack (John Barrowman) dynamic, perhaps in an attempt to keep the public guessing. I hope you all are enjoying these videos, and I will continue to bring you more of these as they air.

For the time being though enjoy this one, another will follow shortly. The next one is only 15 seconds. 'Til next time Woodies, peace

Australian Website Is Up!

Channel 10 in Australia has put up its own website, in preparation for the shows season one premiere on the 18th of June at 9.30. The website includes a guide to the series and a commentary by Russell T Davies. It also contains a guide to the characters, a photo gallery and a poll which asks the question "What is Torchwood an Anagram for?" Gee, I wonder?

Eve Myles and Naoko Mori have both done a Q & A on how they think Australians will respond to Torchwood. During the questioning Eve states she has the intention of heading to Australia, sometime before this Christmas. Good news for Australian fans.

The website can be seen by following this link. An interesting inclusion in the site are pictures of Suzie, even in the the title banner. Perhaps this has been done deliberately to throw fans off. After all in the advertisements it has already stated that Jack can't die, that in itself is a major spoiler.

Great to see an Australian Channel making an effort with their site, unlike Channel 2 with Doctor Who (ie: see external site, being the official one). 'Til next time Woodies.

Knickerswood?

Hello, Woodies its been a while. Today I have something strange for you all, Eve Myles reading knickers. What? You're probably saying to yourself, right now. Well yes, she is reading them. Why? Because for some silly reason the producers of Belonging, thought it would be a novel way to present fans questions to her. Well our Eve was entertained by it anyway.

The questions on the lingerie, and I'll say that now because some are on the back of bras. Include questions about Torchwood, as well as Belonging. Most of the questions are far from serious, so here it is just for a bit of fun. Enjoy.
